What is direct primary care?

Direct primary care is an alternative healthcare model in which patients pay their healthcare provider (HCP) directly instead of going through an insurance company for reimbursement. This translates into more time with your HCP in unrushed visits, transparent and affordable pricing for services, and 24/7 access to HCP via text/phone/email. When we eliminate the “middleman” insurance company, medical services can be offered at a significantly lower rate and we pass those savings on to our patients.

At Refine Medical, adult members pay $84/month and children can be added for an additional $20/month. Membership includes all in-person and virtual visits (no copays), yearly basic labs (CBC, CMP, lipid panel, TSH, A1c, lipid panel), and 24/7 access to your personal healthcare provider. Members also receive wholesale pricing on medications, additional labs, IV therapies, testing, and minor procedures.

Direct primary care is a great option for those that are self-employed, have high deductible healthcare plans, run a small business, or are looking for a more personalized approach with their primary care provider.
